Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for regular inspections of urban polyethylene (PE) gas pipelines. This standard applies to the regular inspections of polyethylene pipelines and steel-frame polyethylene composite pipelines (including steel-plastic conversion joints and steel-crossed gas pipelines) used for urban gas transmission, with a working temperature of -20℃ to 40℃, a nominal diameter of not less than 50 mm, and a maximum allowable working pressure of not more than 0.7 MPa.
