Scope

This standard specifies the quality control testing requirements, items and methods, result evaluation and processing, as well as records and data for digital subtraction angiography (DSA) X-ray equipment. This standard applies to the quality control testing of DSA X-ray equipment (referred to as DSA machines), including acceptance testing, condition testing, and stability testing. This standard does not apply to the quality control during the production of DSA machines, nor to the image display systems and hardcopy systems used in conjunction with DSA machines.
