GB/T 36702.2-2020 Irrigation equipment—Safety devices for chemigation—Part 2:Chemigation valve assemblies from DN 75(3〞)to DN 350(14〞)
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 36702 specifies the structural and performance requirements and test methods for metal chemical irrigation valves. This irrigation valve is suitable for irrigation systems where the water temperature does not exceed 50℃ and the water may contain certain types and concentrations of fertilizers or chemicals commonly used in agriculture.
The valve is used to prevent backflow caused by back pressure or suction, and is not used in drinking water systems. It should not be confused with other forms of backflow preventers, including pressure-vacuum break valves, double check valves, pressure-reducing zone valves, and gooseneck ring valves. This part specifies the minimum design, structural, and performance test requirements for chemical irrigation valve components. It includes the following components:
—— A valve body with a spring check valve with an elastic disc cover installed on the internal sealing surface;
—— A combination of a gas relief valve/vacuum relief valve located upstream of the check valve;
—— A low-pressure drainage valve located upstream of the check valve;
—— The setting of an inspection port, which allows visual and manual inspection of the working components of the valve.
