Scope
This standard specifies the reference coordinate system for the orientation coding of fiber reinforcements in composites, the orientation coding of laminates, the orientation coding of braided reinforcements, and a simplified orientation coding method for computer systems.
This standard is applicable to the orientation coding of laminates and two-dimensional braided reinforcements, as well as the orientation coding of continuous fiber-wound materials.
