Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for evaluating the impact resistance of car tires by the pendulum impact test method, the test methods, the determination rules, and the test reports.
This standard applies to new pneumatic tubeless car tires in the 30 series to 65 series, but it does not apply to run-flat tires and emergency spare tires for temporary use only.
