Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, production and application, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and ordering and delivery for bagged and bulk wet sand pre-mixed mortars. This standard applies to the masonry, plastering, and flooring works of general industrial and civil buildings (structures), general waterproofing projects, and autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, as well as the masonry and plastering works of non-load-bearing autoclaved fly ash porous bricks, which use bagged and bulk wet sand pre-mixed mortars.
