T/SXAGS 0030-2021 Oat variety breeding technology specification
Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This standard applies to the breeding of high-quality oat seeds. It specifies the technical requirements for pre-sowing preparation, seed selection, sowing, fertilization, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, and storage in oat seed breeding. Main technical content: 3. Pre-sowing preparation 3.1 Site selection and land preparation: Select a site with a south-facing slope, flat terrain, deep cultivated layer, medium to high fertility, and good physical and chemical properties of the soil. Avoid continuous cropping. Conduct autumn plowing or raking the stubble and deep loosening and cultivation with a plowing depth of 18–20 cm, combining plowing and raking to ensure level and fine soil. 3.2 Seed selection 3.2.1 Seed quality: Select high-quality, high-yielding, suitable for the growing period, drought-resistant, and disease-resistant oat varieties based on local ecological types and market demand, and adapt to regionalized seed promotion in the production area. 3.2.2 Seed selection criteria: The seed quality meets the requirements of GB 4404.1. 3.3 Seed treatment Spread the seeds on a sunny day for 2–3 days with a thickness of about 3–5 cm. Three to five days before sowing, mix 50% Metconazole WP at a dosage of 0.3% of the seed weight or 50% Fosetyl-sodium WP at a dosage of 0.3% of the seed weight to control diseases such as scab. The use of pesticides shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T
