Scope
This document describes a set of test methods that can be applied to wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers (hereinafter referred to as "spectrometers") to ensure that the spectrometers can perform accurate analyses.
This document is suitable for measuring errors related to the operation of certain components of the spectrometer. These test methods are not designed to check every component of the spectrometer, but only to check those components that may cause common error sources.
Note: When there is no indication of differences, it means that a certain test is suitable for both sequential and multi-channel spectrometers.
