Scope

Main technical content: 8.2.1 Harvesting: Pick the pods together with the bean stem, and try to keep the pods intact. Arrange the pods of the same variety or similar varieties neatly in turnover baskets or fresh-keeping bags. 8.2.2 Grading: Grade the beans according to Table 1, the quality grading standards for green beans, or according to market demand. Use turnover baskets or corrugated cardboard boxes with inner polyethylene film bags, or plastic woven bags, for repackaging according to sales requirements, with each package not exceeding 10 kg. 8.2.3 Packaging: 1–3 kg/batch, 5–10 kg/bag. Modified atmosphere packaging: 0.1–1 kg/box, with a gas composition of 5% CO2, 1% CO2, and 94% N2. 8.2.4 Fresh-market pods should be harvested and sorted without being transferred to other boxes or undergoing multiple grading and bagging processes. Fresh-market pods should be sold within 24 hours from harvest to shelf placement. 8.2.5 E-commerce or transportation and sales (a) Pre-cooling: When the ambient temperature exceeds 20 °C, e-commerce, long-distance transportation, or storage of green beans require pre-cooling. Pre-cooling methods include cold storage pre-cooling and vacuum pre-cooling. Arrange the beans neatly in logistics baskets lined with food-grade polyethylene film bags, with each basket holding about 10 kg. Ensure that the upper part of the logistics basket leaves a 50 mm space for heat dissipation, and stack the baskets in the cold storage for pre-cooling. The pre-cooling temperature is 8 °C with 90% humidity, and the time is adjusted until the pod temperature reaches 9 °C. If the temperature does not reach the target within 10 hours, adjust the stacking distance and increase ventilation to achieve rapid pre-cooling. (b) Packaging: After reaching the pre-cooling temperature, the beans are released from storage according to market demand. Use logistics baskets, corrugated cardboard boxes, or plastic woven bags for repackaging. Packaging formats are s
