Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for in-vehicle audio and video systems, including requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to integrated in-vehicle audio and video systems installed in designated positions in automobiles, with the size of the onboard TFT LCD video display ≤ 10.2 inches.
The video performance requirements and test methods of this standard are primarily applicable to PAL-format images in China, but can also be used as a reference for other formats (such as NTSC) of images.
