Scope
This standard applies to the calibration of the tube voltage measurement part of non-invasive (also known as non-accessible) tube voltage meters for medical diagnostic X-rays with voltages ranging from 40 kV to 150 kV, as well as the tube voltage measurement part of multi-functional measuring instruments for X-ray machines.
This standard does not apply to the calibration of non-invasive tube voltage meters for breast diagnosis X-rays.
