Scope

This standard specifies the product composition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, storage, and transportation of pressure-type wave tide gauges. This standard applies to the production, factory inspection, and type inspection of pressure-type wave tide gauges (hereinafter referred to as wave tide gauges) installed on underwater platforms, submerged platforms (submerged buoys), or suspended on surface platforms (oil and gas exploration and production platforms, piers, docks, etc.) for measuring tidal levels and wave elements (wave height, wave period).
