Scope
This standard specifies the content of the safety information markings for pipeline systems, the design requirements for each element, and the principles and requirements for the overall design and installation of safety information markings.
This standard applies to pipeline systems installed on the ground and above the ground. Pipeline systems on ships and marine structures can be used as reference for application.
This standard does not apply to pipeline systems buried below the ground. This standard also does not apply to the design of other safety signs or markings other than safety information markings for pipeline systems.
