Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations of seamless pipes made of corrosion-resistant alloys for industrial furnaces, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to seamless pipes made of iron-nickel-based and nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloys for industrial furnaces in the petroleum refining, chemical, and polysilicon industries, with a nominal outer diameter not exceeding 406 mm and a nominal wall thickness not exceeding 60 mm (hereinafter referred to as alloy pipes).
