Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for hot-rolled thin plates and strips of corrosion-resistant alloys.
This standard applies to nickel-based, iron-nickel-based, pure nickel, and nickel-copper-based hot-rolled wide strips with a nominal thickness of 2.5 mm to 8.0 mm and a nominal width of no more than 1,500 mm, as well as sheared thin plates and longitudinally cut strips (hereinafter referred to as thin plates and strips).
