Scope
This standard specifies the hygiene requirements for paper, page size, text layout, printing quality, book weight, and the limit of migratable elements in textbooks for primary and secondary school students.
This standard applies to Chinese-character textbooks used in ordinary primary and secondary schools. Other Chinese-character reading materials for primary and secondary school students can also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
