Scope
Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements for the mechanized processing of rolled green tea, semi-manual and semi-mechanized processing of green tea, and mechanized processing of flat green tea in Rizhao City. This standard applies to the processing and production of green tea within the administrative area of Rizhao City. Main technical content: 3.1 Terminology and definitions: The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1.1 Cycle roasting: The process of continuous cycle roasting using roasting equipment equipped with a conveying device. 3.1.2 Second-stage withering: Tea leaves subjected to secondary withering during green tea processing. Their moisture content: 35% to 40%; sensory characteristics: tea strips do not stick together, are elastic, slightly springy to the touch, and the leaves are still soft when pinched; the green aroma has disappeared. 3.1.3 Push-and-roll: A processing method where green tea leaves are held between two hands and rubbed back and forth in a straight line to make them evenly shaped into strips. 3.1.4 Roll-and-roll: A processing method where green tea leaves are held between two hands and rubbed in a circular motion to make them evenly shaped into strips. 4. Basic requirements: Rolled and flat green tea shall comply with the requirements of GB 7718, GB 14881, GB/T 32744, and NY/T 5019. 4.1 Processing environment shall comply with the provisions of GB 14881. The processing area shall be ventilated, clean, odorless, and free from external dust and air pollution. 4.2 Processing equipment shall be selected from tea processing equipment powered by electricity or gas. 4.3 Fresh leaf standards: According to fresh leaf grades, they are divided into premium, special, first, second, and third grades.
