Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, markings, labels, and instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage of flow cytometers (FCMs). This standard applies to flow cytometers used in clinical settings for quantitative analysis and sorting of biochemical and biophysical properties on the surface and inside of single cells or other non-biological particles (limited to flow cytometers with sorting functions).
