Scope
This standard specifies the method of measuring the sharpness of X-ray images using X-ray tubes with a maximum tube voltage of 225 kV and an effective focal spot size of 5 μm to 300 μm.
The image quality and resolution of X-ray images mainly depend on the characteristics of the focal spot, and the imaging quality of the focal spot relies on the two-dimensional density distribution of the object plane.
X-ray photographic techniques used for specific purposes.
Note: The same method can be used for X-ray tubes with higher kV voltages through consultation, but the measurement accuracy will be lower.
