This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for metal ceramic (including corrugated) X-ray tubes.
This standard applies to metal ceramic X-ray tubes (hereinafter referred to as metal ceramic tubes) used for industrial flaw detection at voltages below 500 kV.
