Scope

This standard specifies the data element types required for electromechanical application environments, particularly electrical application environments, and their mechanical representations in real or virtual three-dimensional worlds.
This standard is applicable to industrial users evaluating CAx software for use in electromechanical applications when compiling checklists and guidelines.
Existing standardized data element types are listed in GB/T 17564.4.
At the time of publication of this standard, the existing data element types are identified by reference numbers, and the names and definitions of the data element types are also provided in GB/T 17564.4.
Standardized data element types are used to support the automation of the design process when developing products, systems, and complete equipment.
