Scope

This document describes the selective dissolution and separation of chemical reagents for determining the antimony content in antimony ores (including stibnite, arsenopyrite, and antimonite) using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICPOES) or atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), as well as titration (VOL). This document is applicable to the determination of antimony content in native ores and oxidized ores of single antimony sulfide ore types, as well as in stibnite, arsenopyrite, and antimonite.
