Scope

Scope: This document specifies the selection of local environmental conditions, seedling cultivation, pre-planting preparation, direct sowing, seedling transplantation, field management, and harvesting for high-yield cucumber cultivation. This document is applicable to cucumber cultivation. Main technical content: 1. Terms and definitions: There are no terms or definitions requiring definition in this document. 2. Selection of production environment: The production site should be convenient for transportation, free from pollution sources, with easy irrigation and drainage, deep soil layers, and medium-high soil fertility. The soil quality should comply with GB 15618, and the water quality should comply with GB 5084. 3. Seedling cultivation: Seedling cultivation shall be carried out in accordance with T/YNRZ 013-2023. 4. Pre-planting preparation: 4.1 Clean the field: Timely clear the residual branches, leaves, and weeds of the previous crop and transport them away for harmless treatment or centralized destruction. 4.2 Deep plowing: Plow the soil to a depth of more than 30 cm. 4.3 Disinfection: 4.3.1 Soil disinfection: Apply 100 g of 65% Multisporin powder mixed with fine sand evenly to the soil per mu, and use 50 kg of lime per mu for acidic soils. Then, rotary tillage once. 4.3.2 For greenhouse cultivation, disinfect the greenhouse by using 2 kg of sulfur powder mixed with 10 kg of sawdust per mu, pile it up and ignite it, and fumigate the greenhouse for 24 hours with a closed door. 4.4 Application of base fertilizer: Apply 3,000–4,000 kg of composted organic fertilizer or 1,000–2,000 kg of commercial organic fertilizer per mu before planting, along with 40 kg of diammonium phosphate, 10 kg of urea, or 50 kg of special fertilizer for fruits and vegetables. After spreading, mix the fertilizer thoroughly with the soil.
