Scope
This standard specifies the test and evaluation methods for three types of thermal deformation in CNC machining centers, including environmental temperature changes, spindle rotation, and linear axis movement. This standard is applicable to testing the circular lag, circular deviation, and radius deviation parameters of circular trajectories generated by the linkage of two linear axes. The test for thermal deformation caused by linear axis movement is only applicable to CNC machine tools.
