Scope

Scope: This document specifies the requirements for the collection and classification of nursery plant waste, the requirements for disposal sites, disposal methods, and the main technical applications of the products. This document applies to the disposal of nursery plant waste. Main Technical Content: 4. Collection and Classification Requirements 4.1 Preparation before collection should be based on the nursery plant growth cycle, cultivation plans, pruning operation characteristics, and natural conditions, etc., to reasonably arrange the preparation work for collection operations, workflow, time, equipment, and labor. According to the distribution of nursery plants, temporary collection points should be reasonably established, and the waste should be processed on-site and then transported to the disposal site according to the collection route map. 4.2 Collection and classification should sort out non-plant waste and ensure that no stone, iron wire, iron nails, flower pots, planting bags, ropes, and other nursery operation materials are mixed in. No household waste or construction waste should be mixed in. The waste should be simply classified according to the type of waste, the thickness of branches, or the purpose. After pre-processing such as bundling, crushing, and initial shredding, it should be transported to the disposal site. Plants affected by pathogens or pests should be handled separately and not directly covered on the surface. 5. Requirements for Disposal Sites 5.1 Construction Requirements The disposal site can be set up in an open, level and spacious area; it should be located in a high-lying area with low risk of flooding, and it should have an effective drainage system or a certain slope for water discharge.
