Scope
This document describes the method of measuring impurity elements in bismuth germanate (BGO) crystals using glow discharge mass spectrometry (GDMS). This document is suitable for determining the content of impurity elements in BGO crystal materials, except for hydrogen and inert gas elements. The measurement range is 0.001 μg/g to 1,000 μg/g (mass fraction). By using appropriate standard samples for correction, it is also suitable for measuring the content of impurity elements with a mass fraction greater than 1,000 μg/g.
