Scope
This document specifies the method of accelerating moisture absorption and regulating the supersaturated state of fiber-reinforced composites under heating temperatures above 100°C and saturated water vapor pressure conditions using sealed pressure vessels. The purpose of this moisture absorption method is to screen materials based on their mechanical or thermal properties. This document is applicable to fiber-reinforced composites with a glass transition temperature (Tg) greater than 150°C, including carbon fiber-reinforced thermoset composites (CFRP), carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites (CFRTP), and glass fiber-reinforced composites, etc.
