Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the Z-direction tensile strength of paper and paperboard.
This standard is applicable to paper and paperboard, but not to corrugated paperboard.
This standard does not specify a clear limit for the paper weight range. However, when the paper weight is less than 60.0 g/m2, double-sided adhesive tape may increase the strength of the paper, and the test results are for reference only.
