GB/T 42560-2023 System and software engineering—Development and operations—Capability maturity model

Scope

This document specifies the model and content of the maturity of integrated development and operation and maintenance capabilities, and establishes a maturity framework, which mainly includes the classification of capability domains and the definition of maturity levels. Around six capability domains (project management, process improvement, support and assurance, product development, service management, and infrastructure), it details the capabilities belonging to each capability domain and the specific requirements of various practical activities supporting different capabilities.
This document is applicable to:
—— Organizations seeking suppliers to obtain the development and operation and maintenance of software systems and services, and requiring to ensure the quality and efficiency of software development and the quality of subsequent operation and maintenance;
—— Organizations wishing to demonstrate their capabilities and maturity in software development, delivery, and subsequent operation and maintenance management;
—— Organizations continuously improving the performance of software development, delivery, and subsequent operation and maintenance management through the effective implementation and operation of this document;
—— Second- and third-party evaluators implementing assessments in accordance with the requirements of this document.
