Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, responsibilities, facilities, personnel, and safety technical conditions for filling units of welded insulated gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as gas cylinders). This standard applies to vertically installed gas cylinders designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 24159, which are used under normal ambient temperatures (-40°C to 60°C) and store media such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide at low temperatures of not less than -196°C, with a nominal volume of 10 L to 450 L and a working pressure of 0.2 MPa to 3.5 MPa, which can be refilled repeatedly. This standard does not apply to filling units of automotive liquefied natural gas cylinders.
