Scope

This document specifies the acceptance requirements, operating conditions, operation and maintenance, and abnormal situation handling for active intervention-type arc suppression devices (hereinafter referred to as the device). This document is applicable to active intervention-type arc suppression devices in AC systems with a nominal voltage of 10kV and a rated frequency of 50Hz. Devices of other voltage levels may be implemented in accordance with this document.
