Scope

This standard specifies the classification, models, and basic parameters of small amusement rides such as rocking horses and seesaws, as well as their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and user manuals, usage management, and packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to rocking horses and seesaws designed for children aged 3 to 14. It does not apply to rocking horses and seesaws equipped with any kind of power devices, such as electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic ones.
