Scope
Scope: This document establishes the terminology and definitions of Beitun sunflower seeds, production technical requirements, seed requirements, and primary processing procedures, testing methods, inspection rules, packaging, hygiene requirements, labeling and marking, storage, and transportation. This document applies to the production and quality assessment of Beitun sunflower seeds. Main technical content: Chapter I: Production Technical Requirements 1. Site Selection: The soil elements of the production site should be located within the normal background value range, with no metal or non-metallic mines in the surrounding area, no pesticide residue pollution, and high soil fertility, good tillage properties, deep soil layers, good drainage, and flat terrain. The environmental conditions of the production site shall comply with the requirements of NY/T 391. 2. Variety Selection: Select sunflower seed varieties that are most suitable for cultivation in mountainous and hilly areas. The seed purity should be no less than 96%, the neturity should be no less than 98%, the germination rate should be no less than 85%, and the moisture content should not exceed 9%. Conduct a germination test 10 days before sowing. Carry out manual seed selection 4-5 days before sowing, and sun-dry the seeds for 2-3 days. 3. Production Process Management 3.1 Special Use Regulations for Agricultural Inputs: - Strictly control the source of seeds; - Production seeds must be seeds with three certificates (business license, seed business license, and seed quality certificate); - Seeds should have detailed purchase records. - Use pesticides in accordance with the GB/T
