Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for the selection and planning of planting sites, land reclamation and planting, soil management, water management, fertilization management, shaping and pruning, and pest and disease control for the integrated cultivation of betel nut and coffee in Hainan Province. This document is applicable to the establishment and management of integrated cultivation plantations of betel nut and medium-grain coffee in Hainan, but not applicable to betel nut plantations with steep slopes and no terraced fields where coffee is planted.
