Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for the construction, seedling cultivation, packaging, and transportation of virus-free seedlings of Xiangnan navel oranges. This document is applicable to the production of virus-free seedlings of Xiangnan navel oranges; Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions: The definitions defined in GB/T 9659 and NY/T 973 and the following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1 Xiangnan navel orange: Xiangnan navel oranges refer to navel oranges grown in cities such as Yongzhou, Chenzhou, Shaoyang, Huaihua, Hengyang, and Zhuzhou located between 110°E and 114°E and 25°N and 26.5°N. The main varieties are medium-ripening Navel oranges, covering early and late ripening varieties. The soluble solids content should be ≥11%, and the fruits should have distinctive quality characteristics such as "red, clean, sweet, and fragrant" compared with those from other production areas. 4. Nursery construction 4.1 Site selection: The site selection requirements for virus-free nurseries are excellent isolation conditions, no Artemisia plants within a 2-kilometer radius, good environmental conditions, flat terrain, sun exposure, reliable power supply, convenient transportation, no pollution sources, and sufficient water resources. The water quality should meet the requirements of GB 5084. 4.2 Construction 2.2.1 Land preparation: Level the land and divide it into plots, with each plot area ranging from 0.4hm2 to 1hm2.
