GB/T 38781-2020 Machinery for forestry—General safety requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements for self-propelled forestry machinery and forestry machinery assembled according to operational requirements. This standard includes the general serious hazards, dangerous situations, and events that manufacturers can reasonably foresee when forestry machinery is used normally or misused, such as logging machines, stacking machines, pruning machines, hauling machines, timber loaders, logging skidders, combination machines, combined logging machines, and shredding and spreading machines specified in ISO 6814, as well as multifunctional combination machines combining the above models.
This standard does not address the hazards of individual machines, such as those related to specific attachments. Therefore, using this standard alone is not sufficient to cover all serious hazards of most machines covered by this standard.
This standard does not address the hazards related to the breakage and ejection of the saw chain at the upper end of the guide plate, the loading and unloading of cargo, remote operation, the need for working lights, and road safety. This standard does not address the testing devices for vibration measurement and the working cycle, nor does it address the testing methods for noise measurement.
This standard does not apply to the hazards related to the maintenance and repair of machines by professional maintenance personnel.
For a list of the serious hazards listed in this standard, please refer to Appendix A.
This standard does not apply to machines produced before its implementation.
