Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of the single-fiber bidirectional medium wavelength division multiplexer (hereinafter referred to as "BiDi-MWDM") used in metropolitan access networks, stipulates the technical requirements of BiDi-MWDM, including interfaces, wavelength allocation, optical characteristics, and environmental compliance, and describes the corresponding testing methods, reliability tests, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage, etc.
