Scope

Scope: This document stipulates the terms and definitions of "Xiangjiangyuan" winter melons, the production environment, land preparation and application of base fertilizer, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, packaging and storage, waste disposal, product quality, and production records, etc. This document applies to the greenhouse-based cultivation of "Xiangjiangyuan" winter melons; Main technical content: (1) This document stipulates the definition and terms of "Xiangjiangyuan" winter melons, the production environment, land preparation and application of base fertilizer, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, waste disposal, product quality requirements, and production records, etc. (2) This document stipulates that the production area of "Xiangjiangyuan" winter melons shall be within the scope defined in the "Xiangjiangyuan" Vegetable Public Brand Construction Plan (2020-2022), namely, the administrative areas currently under the jurisdiction of Yongzhou, Chenzhou, and Hengyang cities in Hunan Province, with longitudes ranging from 111° to 117° east and latitudes ranging from 25° to 27° north. (3) This document stipulates that the production environment of "Xiangjiangyuan" winter melons shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 391 and the "Xiangjiangyuan" Vegetable Production Environment Quality and Safety Standards (T/XJY 1001-2021), and at the same time, it shall obtain the record for vegetable inspection and quarantine for supplying Hong Kong and Macao.
