Scope
This document specifies the transmission and aggregation (TC) layer protocols, resource allocation and quality of service for the 50Gbit/s passive optical network (hereinafter referred to as 50G-PON), the TC framing sublayer, encapsulation methods, the TC physical adaptation sublayer, the PLOAM message channel, the ONU activation cycle, the timing relationship between the OLT and the ONU, performance management, supervision and faults, security, and power management, etc.
