Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the site selection and planning of tea gardens in Rizhao City, the construction of shelterbelts, road greening, water conservancy supporting facilities, intercropping within the garden, land preparation and fertilization, etc. This standard is applicable to the planning and construction of tea gardens in Rizhao City. Main technical contents: 3.1 Tea Garden Environment The natural conditions such as air, terrain, soil, and irrigation water that affect the growth of tea trees and the yield and quality of tea in tea gardens. 3.2 Soil Fertility An important indicator reflecting the fertility of soil, which measures the ability of soil to provide various nutrients needed for crop growth and various basic characteristics. 4. Site Selection and Planning 4.1 The tea garden environment shall comply with the requirements of NY/T 391. 4.2 Soil Fertility Indicators The soil fertility shall comply with the provisions of Class I in NY/T 391, with organic matter > 20g/kg, total nitrogen > 1.0g/kg, effective phosphorus > 10mg/kg, and available potassium > 100mg/kg. For tea gardens with a soil pH value higher than 6.5, the pH value of the soil shall be adjusted to a suitable range by using sulfur, ferrous sulfate, or physiologically acidic fertilizers. 4.3 Tea Garden Planning The tea garden planning shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of NY/T
