Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for the planting of mango processing varieties in Yunnan Province, including site selection, seedling breeding, planting, soil management, pruning, fertilization, flower and fruit management, pest and disease control, and harvesting. This document applies to the planting of mango processing varieties in areas with an annual rainfall of more than 1,000 mm in Yunnan. Main technical contents: 1. Site selection: 1.1.1 Climate conditions: Annual average temperature greater than 17.8 °C, annual temperature above 10 °C exceeding 6,200 °C, and frost period less than 15 days. Annual rainfall greater than 1,000 mm. 1.1.2 Soil conditions: Soils with good aeration and water permeability, high fertility, and good water retention. The soil layer depth should be greater than 1.0 m, with groundwater levels below 1.0 m. The soil pH value should be between 5.5 and 7.5, and the soil environmental quality should meet the requirements of NY/T 5010. 1.1.3 Site conditions: Close to water sources, sheltered from the wind, and facing the sun. Avoid low and marshy areas with frost, with a slope less than 25° and convenient transportation. 1.1.4 Irrigation water quality: The irrigation water quality should meet the requirements of NY/T 5010. 1.1.5 Air quality: The environmental air quality should meet the requirements of NY/T 5010. Site planning: 1.2.1 Planting area layout: The layout of the planting area should be in harmony with the natural environment, and it should be divided according to the slope direction, soil quality, and fertility, with convenient irrigation and drainage and convenient transportation.
