Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the accounting principles and processes, project boundaries, baseline identification, accounting methods, data quality management, and other related requirements for greenhouse gas emission reduction accounting of the corn straw returning to the field through the rumen of dairy cows project. This standard applies to dairy farms and supporting corn planting areas for greenhouse gas emission reduction accounting through the rumen returning project; Main technical content: Taking the dairy cow and corn straw returning to the field project as an example, this study investigates the current domestic and international rumen returning farming and breeding linkage models and the greenhouse gas emission characteristics of these models, analyzes the accounting, monitoring, and certification processes and methods of greenhouse gas emission reduction technologies at home and abroad, identifies project baselines, defines project boundaries, explores emission reduction calculation methods, quantifies project technical parameters, and studies additionality demonstration methods. By applying the provisions of the IPCC and other relevant standards, this study formulates an accounting guide for emission reductions from the dairy cow and corn straw returning to the field model.
