This standard specifies the method for determining the gold content in gold alloy jewelry by the weight method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of gold content in gold alloy jewelry and products with a gold content of 700.0‰ to 999.5‰.
This standard is not applicable to the determination of gold alloy products containing precious metal elements such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium.
