Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates, as well as the content of contracts (or purchase orders) for vanadium-aluminum master alloys.
This standard applies to vanadium-aluminum master alloys (hereinafter referred to as the product) produced by the metal reduction method. This alloy can be used as an additive for titanium alloys, high-temperature alloys, and other special alloys.
