Scope
Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for the production of Huangjingguo, including terminology and definitions, variety selection, seedling propagation, site selection and planning, orchard establishment, soil and water management, tree shape management, flower and fruit management, pest and disease control, harvesting, and file management. This document is applicable to the management of Huangjingguo production. Main technical content: 4. Variety selection: Select suitable varieties for the local area, generally choosing those with excellent characteristics such as good fruit shape, strong adaptability, high and stable yield, good storage and transportation, high edible rate, and good taste, such as Dongmi and Jiumi. 5. Seedling propagation 5.1 Establishment of nurseries 5.1.1 Nurseries should be built in flat areas with convenient transportation, sufficient sunlight, and easy access to irrigation water. The environmental quality of the nursery site must comply with the requirements of NY/T 5010. 5.1.2 The nursery areas and beds should be uniformly numbered. The wild rootstock seedlings and grafted seedlings in each area and bed should be registered and archived to ensure the accuracy of the variety and batch information. 5.1.3 Install a shading net above the nursery, with a shading rate of 50% to 75% and a net height of 2.0 m to 2.5 m from the ground. 5.2 Rootstock cultivation 5.2.1 Select fresh and plump Huangjingguo seeds, clean them, and soak them in water for 2 to 3 days to germinate, changing the water 1 to 2 times during this period. 5.2.2 Prepare seedling bags and seedling substrate.
