Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the main operations of corn mechanized production, including tillage and leveling, sowing, field management, harvesting, drying and threshing, and straw handling. This standard applies to corn mechanized production operations under typical production conditions in the Northeast and North China Spring Corn Area, the Huaihai Summer Corn Area, the Southwest Mountainous Corn Area, and the Northwest Arid Land Corn Area. This standard does not apply to the mechanized production of silage, seed production, and fresh-eating corn.
