WS/T 366-2011 Threat category for a nuclear or radiological emergency
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the types of threats in nuclear or radiation emergencies and the emergency response levels they may reach.
This standard applies to the development of emergency response plans for practices and radiation sources that may cause human radiation exposure or environmental radioactive pollution and require emergency intervention. It can also serve as a reference for emergency response. Emergency response and preparedness for deliberate nuclear or radiation-related threats can also be referenced for use.
This standard does not apply to the classification of various nuclear or radiation emergencies that have occurred (such as the International Nuclear Event Scale) nor to ordinary emergencies, including emergency responses to accidental events involving non-ionizing radiation (such as microwave, ultraviolet, and infrared radiation).
