Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, labels and user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage of free triiodothyronine (FT3) assay kits (hereinafter referred to as FT3 kits).
This standard applies to immunoassay kits that use enzyme marking, (electro) chemiluminescence marking, (time-resolved) fluorescence marking, and other methods to quantitatively measure free triiodothyronine (FT3) in vitro based on the principle of competitive assay.
