T/NAASS 071-2023 Technical Specifications for the Planting of Winter Wheat in Ningnan Mountainous Areas on Dry Land Using Wide-row and Narrow-row Ridge-trench Planting Methods
T/NAASS 071-2023
Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This standard defines the terms and definitions, pre-sowing preparation, sowing techniques, field management, pest and disease control methods, and harvesting for wide-narrow row furrow planting of winter wheat in the arid areas of Ningnan Mountain Region. This standard is applicable to the semi-arid and semi-humid arid areas of southern Ningxia with an annual rainfall of 300mm to 600mm; Main technical content: 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document: 3.1 Dry land winter wheat: Winter wheat planted in semi-arid and semi-humid arid areas, relying on natural precipitation. It is sown in the autumn of the previous year and harvested in the summer of the following year. 3.2 Wide-narrow row furrow planting: Using a combine harvester with functions such as rotary tillage, trenching, ridge-raising, and sowing, to complete operations such as rotary tillage, trenching, ridge-raising, fertilization, sowing, soil covering, and compacting in one go, forming a planting mode with wide-narrow rows and furrows on the surface. 4 Pre-sowing preparation 4.1 Tillage After the harvest of summer crops, mechanically till the soil in time, with a tillage depth of 25cm to 30cm, to capture rainwater, expose the soil to the sun, and improve soil fertility. After rainfall, rake and level the soil to retain moisture. After the harvest of autumn crops, rotary till and level the soil to form a loose and compact layer, minimizing soil water evaporation. 4.2 Fertilization Before deep tillage and leveling, apply 2000kg to 3000kg of composted farmyard manure or 200kg to 300kg of commercial organic fertilizer per 667m2. When sowing, separate the fertilizer from the seeds, with a fertilizer application depth of 10cm to 12cm. All fertilizer is applied as seed fertilizer, with the amount determined based on soil fertility and target yield. See the table below for details. Target Yield (kg/667m2) Fertilizer Amount (kg/667m2) Fertilization Met
