Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, technical requirements for evaluation, evaluation methods, evaluation procedures, and reports for the evaluation of the operational effectiveness of desulfurization and dust removal equipment for sintering steel fumes. This standard applies to the evaluation of the operational effectiveness of wet desulfurization equipment such as the limestone/limestone gypsum method and ammonia method for sintering steel fumes, semi-dry/dry desulfurization equipment such as flue gas circulating fluidized bed method and rotary spray drying method, and the evaluation of the operational effectiveness of electrostatic precipitators and bag filters used for flue gas dust removal. Other similar desulfurization and dust removal processes can also be referenced for implementation.
